A cultural and fun afternoon... São Paulo, São Paulo...

Well, windy and rainy Saturday... Sarinha and I, in an adventure around the centre of São Paulo...

First stop.... Sé Church!!! Amazing, massive, beautiful!!!

Besides the cold weather and all the poor people around there, some were dancing!!!!

Well, we also went to Pátio do Colégio - the first school in São Paulo, and where the city was founded.

The "biggest" white house at the top is the school...

Hummm.... in this cold... let's have some coffee and cake.... (obs: SARINHA had two slices of cake! haha)

Then, we had a mission: find the place with the strangest name ever............ Beco do Pinto!!!

Well, apparently, it was named after the former owner of "Solar da Marquesa de Santos" (yep! we've been there too!), Brigadeiro José Joaquim Pinto de Morais Leme. It seems he had a bit of a problem with his neighbours, so he wanted to close the passage next to the house... hihi

When we found the place - and the reason of the name - we found out it was just......

e Solar da Marquesa de Santos

The Solar da Marquesa de Santos was a bit better, and Sara and I had a lot of fun there.... hihihi

Then, rain started again, and we rushed to Shopping Light, but we went to Viaduto do Chá! It was really cold..... bbbrrrrrrr

We did lots of other things... Took funny pics wearing horrible glasses... But, Sarinha has these ones... I will post them here soon...
